This three minute ‘falling debris film’ was expressly shot for the multimedia performance project, “Because It’s Round”, created by Lynn Book. It was staged and shot on 8-millimeter film by Lynn Book with Alan Tollefson and projected during the live performance, which ran about 50 minutes. The work had twelve performers, including Book, was presented at MoMing Dance and Arts Center, Chicago, an important space founded by Sally Banes and others in the 1970s to present nationally recognized contemporary dance choreographers. Lynn Book was curated into the 1986 season and shared the bill with Hudson (who later founded Feature Gallery).
