Items
The "Items" section of the Lynn Book Projects Archive is intended to give full access to all digital files held within the archive at any given time and to provide targeted search options for them.Each item is generally a single file: video, audio, document, photograph, etc. However, some items are combined documents that gather together like material such as: photographic slide documentation of a performance work, originally shot as a chronological sequence (Physical Vision), or multiple pages in a single sketchbook (Gorgeous Fever).
Unlike Collections which are intended to assist navigation of particular artworks and their associated materials, Items delivers all data files without obvious ordering hierarchies, except for the automated priority of most recently uploaded, as many blog architectures do. Note that there are duplicate files if they are listed in more than one Collection.
There are several search options that can be used including keyword and advanced searches within the Items database. While general browsing is always encouraged, searches can be conducted in the search bar above the menu, where you can identify other types of searches beyond keyword. You can find an advanced search strategy below those types, as well as next to the “Browse All” the “Search Items” prompt.
