Description
Sketchbooks are central to Lynn Book's overall creative practice. These selected drawings, notes, diagrams, and text experiments influenced the development of "Gorgeous Fever" in both direct and indirect ways. As part of the practice, Book revisits the material seeking resonant ideas and images for evolving concepts for performance or other projects. In her multimodal practice, Book also visualizes ideas by drawing on notecards and creating process boards, both of which are featured elsewhere in this archive. Other ongonig methods include audio journaling, writing practice, reading and research, movement studies and space or object design.
